Caterpillar
My 7 year-old son :-D
Little Gemini who is NEVER in the Moment. He's always talking about either last year or something like 20 years from now LOL ...always wanting to read yesterday's newspaper (I keep telling him that it's Old News now, new things are happening each day, each moment)
So I have to keep snapping him back into NOW by bringing his awareness (and mine, in the process) to what's around us and occurring NOW.
Our summer garden helped...I took him out every morning to see what's growing, what's ready to harvest, new buds, new flowers...sigh....then he says something about when he's 21 years old ROTFL.
It's a work in progress :-D

Help

maybe he don't want to wear the blinders that keep people focused on a “now” that doesn't even exist! :-) *smooches* (it must be rather difficult to parent people like us… my poor mama!) LOL
gardening is a great learning adventure!! i learned from past mistakes that no matter how pretty the weather is in march, i have to wait until mid-april to plant seeds or they will all die in a late frost. i trust in the seeds to be viable, and hope for a bountiful harvest at some point in the future. and when balance is achieved (balance between past mistakes and future results of my current decisions), what a wonderful thing to experience in the present! :-) *grins*
you inspired me, sweetie. thank you!
Boy was he pissed when his flower died. Then in a split second he says he's going to pull out the roots and plant something else. :-D
Heh…who's teaching who? LOL
The unpredictability of Life…what's going to grow? What's there today could be gone tomorrow. What was empty space could be filled with a pretty flower tomorrow. My tomato was there getting ripe one day, and the next it was laying on the ground with a huge bite taken out, the terrorist squirrel making a run for it with tomato blood dripping out its greedy little mouth :-D LOL
Something I planted 2 years ago grew this year. Unpredictable LOL.
{Hugs Stacy}…I'm sowing my seeds and hoping for the best, but…whatever :-D
Loving It :-P
yep
what a long strange trip it's been… :-)
Your little boy is so sweet… Thinking that past, present and future are now maybe he is just confused with so many options… He knows that he is here and now but also is able to see past and future in the same time… But maybe he does not know how to explain that… Gardening keep us grounded, that is true :)) And he knows better… “Then in a split second he says he's going to pull out the roots and plant something else. :-D”
Lovely SiStar ((()))
Stacy, I can say that this trip is getting stranger and more entertaining :-P
{Hugs Lili}…you are right! He is still relatively fresh from his Infinite Self, so yes, he remembers his vantage point of past, present, future…all of NOW. It doesn't bother me at all, he's got such a short attention span that he's onto something else quickly LOL.
So he IS in the NOW…that's how fleeting NOW is!
Watch…Now, no now….no now….Now….okay NOW…LMAO :-D
Omg, I love that little dude of yours. What a sweet child, sweet child. And how come I never got to be his mother? We'd be such a perfect match. Lol.
This rocks, Ariela. Sending squishable hugs for your little Gemini…and you too.
amy :)
he's teaching you
keep watching
he's riiiiiiiiiiiiiiiight where he is :)
LOL…Thank You and {Hugs} Amy and Elisa :)
He is incomparable to anyone else…yes, he IS right where he is :-P
This was too funny…how precious…thnx for sharing this! *
Awww Thank You, Dear StarLight! (now he's talking about last week, and he's holding both ends of a conversation {Gemini, ya know LOL} hahaha)
~SiStar Goddess Amy, I'm going to tell my son that you're Auntie Amy up there in Canada somewhere LOL…you could certainly pass :-D
oh, that's the sweetest thing……….tell your baby boy, I would be the best Auntie Amy this world has ever seen just for him. Hope to meet him one day. And hey, u guys must come by sometime when u are visiting relatives in Canada. We have to curl up on the couch with buckets of popcorn, me you and the kids and re-watch the little mermaid.
And oh, I have to tell u, I met up with Nicole, Liza, Gemstar, Rita (mum's the word) and Just Me yesterday and it was absolutely wonderful. We mentioned u, sweet things, and we all wished u were here with us. Isn't that absolutely wonderful? Hugs. Love ya.
