Spiritual Awakening - How to Know When You Reach "Critical Mass" in Your Awakening Process

While I concur that reading or listening to channeled material may initially help us become aware of another point of view and realm, at some point we will need to "get off our behinds" so to speak and begin the reconnecting (the awakening) process fully. The channeling entities themselves are reminding us to use our inner discernment-- meaning the power of your higher self. Once we do this, I surmise that we will begin to surpass the spiritual understanding of the "ascended ones" because of the fact that we are here intimately experiencing what they can only witness from another realm.
The truth is, we have forgotten (albeit purposefully) that many of the biggest masters of all time are here on this planet currently incarnate (though my guess is that they're not aware of who they are quite yet). The people presently afoot on the Earth were chosen (and chose) to be here at this time to fulfill the divine plan that will enlighten (and delight) themselves, their loved ones, as well as the rest of the universe. In fact, it's well known throughout the universe that present-day humans were commissioned for this extremely important and sensitive assignment because they happened to be the most capable for it.
Seriously, learning to trust and live from your higher self is the whole point. It's the path to your higher life purpose and humanity's ascension. It's the way to the "Great Shift" in consciousness and to the "Golden Age." The higher self is also the only place from where to experience the full meaning of the recently popular but elusive term "Oneness."
You can fulfill your higher life purpose (your individual role in the larger divine plan) by reconnecting to your higher self. Reconnecting consists of:
1. Learning to distinguish your inner guidance from other sources, including mental conditioning and others' expectations (your higher- level consciousness from your human-level consciousness) and
2. Learning to trust that connection enough to promptly and consistently follow through on your inner guidance.
Your higher self knows the bigger picture and your contribution to the Golden Age. Your higher self is your access point to the deepest level understanding of everything from your life story to how things work in the universe. Discern everything from that higher level.
Channeled information comes from another realm - the realm of the higher self. This makes the higher self a much better "decoder" of channeled information than the human mind (sometimes referred to as the "ego").
We have been repeatedly advised to discern channeled messages by the channelers themselves. While it's important to be open to new information and to expand your awareness, don't be afraid to set aside what doesn't ring true for you. It's good to be open, to be informed, but let your higher self have the last word. By the way, when the relationship with your higher self becomes at least as real to you as any of your other relationships, this is when you have reached "critical mass" in your awakening process. (Critical mass is also the point when the universe begins to support you like never before because it has a vested interest in helping you fulfill your higher life purpose.) If you feel you're not quite there yet, it's time to do some reconnecting work.
There are many examples of channelers who have been mistaken in their messages and predictions. As more and more channelers contradict themselves and each other, know that there is a reason for this--to help you look within for your own answers! It is time to finally take your power back and stop looking to others to tell you what to do.
Contrary to popular opinion, this planet is playing the lead role in the spiritual evolution of the entire universe. We are using duality (also known as "learning through contrast" or "the hard way") as the means to do this. We are not peons; we are the masters of the universe having temporarily accepted "lowered consciousness" for the purpose of being of service to ourselves as well as the entire universe. And right now we're going through the creme de la creme of evolutionary experiences. For this alone we can feel good about ourselves. We are more powerful beyond what we currently know. As Marianne Williamson said, "Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure."
This is why the whole universe is interested in what is going on here. It's time we finally awakened to it.

Some of my first posts were a copy of 100 Spiritual Laws…I typed it all out and it really did sink deeper into me. That's how I study too…I write it over =) Works for me :-D

…That, I believe, is the point to alot of the stress on Earth. We MUST stop giving our power away…to energy vampires, I mean :-P
As a channeler, I agree with some, and disagree with some, of what has been said here in the article. I've had to really hold myself back from screaming through type at some of the more recent prognostications by other channelers, though - especially this mass hysteria that is being created around 2012. I should really post a couple of the sessions from my own Source on the topic - one from April 2007 (which is available on my web-site) and another held last month (which I could make available on the web-site, but I've hesitated to do so, just for one of the reasons the article stated - contradicting other channelers). I have tended to make my own mind up about things, regardless of what my Source says, anyways - but I haven't felt comfortable with all the fuss about 2012 since it started to become THE topic of choice for so many. So yeah, we do need to take our power back from that sort of thing, for sure.

~My Dear Gem…I studied astrology before I heard about 2012. It is from my own research that I saw something…don't know WHAT, but SOMETHING…that I don't yet know the meaning of.
There is still a need for Channelers, Gem! :-D You know how to listen and interpret what you intuit. We are ALL channelers, and from whatever we bring to the table…we make a whole balanced meal…or some bring the silverware :-D
They're all parts of the Whole picture…no one source is entirely accurate, because no one source can speak for many.

Hi Ariela: Only the 2007 session is accessible online thru my web-pages (under “Archived” entitled “The Herald have Their Say About The Secret”, but they also get into 2012 in the question period near the end) - and it is an MP3 - not typed out. If you are interested in a link to the more recent session, which I haven't provided a “public” link for yet, please contact me privately - that is also a sound file - about 50 minutes in length, a session done here in April for a small local group.
I have done my own research on 2012, and have received some very interesting information that the Mayan calendars used most are actually not the only “Mayan” calendars out there, some of which run counter to the information everyone is getting so hept up about. I'd be happy to send that info to you as well (it's long, though). I have also run numerology on certain aspects of the year, and I fail to see all the “doom and gloom” that is predicted by so many. ~~~^v^~~~

I have recently seen the differing info on the Mayan Calendar as well…but you know, there is Misinformation going around…has been for a LONG time…so that people never know the Real Time.
Oh goodness, I don't FEEL nor SEE the doom and gloom. I'm sure we didn't all choose to come here for that. :-D That doom and gloom stuff is to influence the masses in a self-fulfilling prophecy, unfortunately.

Enjoying this discussion between 'old' friends [!!!] I guess when we can all listen to our own voices and inner sounds, we'll know what we're channeling and what we're not; what is a message meant for us and what is a message not meant for us. And using my favorite freeway signs metaphor for this, you've to look at the sign on your lane; not the one in the ramp that's merging. They're on another path, their signs are different. It doesn't make them wrong.

When people DO seek out Channelers, what they are looking for is something that rings true within them…so the answers they sought were already within…Channelers gently remind them of what they forgot they forgot…that amnesia thingy we all have from Earth-Touchdown :-P

I think it may seem paradoxical, but as we each learn to use our own mapquest, we actually get to see the overall map that we call oneness or unity or….whatever we call it. We get closer to each other; not further, but in a more expanded world.

Like “Know Thyself” and “Love Thyself” may seem Selfish, but it is really not. It is self-empowerment and makes you all the more a better Earth-Citizen. When you know, love and accept yourself, the world is a better place for All.
I Honour every person's opinion and perspective. They are each right, in their own way, on their own path. It is very enjoyable to me to learn about differences…that dichotomy thing again…because it actually teaches me how SIMILAR we are! Weird, I know…Earth School is a really fun exercise LOL.
