This is in Response to the Questions and Reflections for October 24, 2009:
How do I define power?

Power is a Force.
We are each an antenna that conducts, attracts, repels this Force.
We can Use it, but we really can't Control it...it has an Intelligence of its own.
You can lend Power to another person...and there are so many (before it gets branched off and differentiated from the Main Source, you know.)
A Group can Give their collective Power to another person...
but the esteemed Plug O' Power can be pulled out of the Socket at any time...
Too much power collectively given to one person usually Short-Circuits them...
Even if it's the Power of Love, the Power of Light, the Power of Fame/Fortune...
Overloads them...and BZZZZZZZZZZZZZT.
Sometimes it backfires and fries all of the cords that were feeding it or off of it.
Yes, you Can have too much of something, anything, everything.
"POWER CORRUPTS. ABSOLUTE POWER CORRUPTS ABSOLUTELY."
Forgot who said that, but that's not really important. The Message Is.

I thought about that for a few minutes while writing this blog.
I've decided that yes, it could happen.
People can love another so much that they do everything for the other… the other never learns to love themselves or do for themselves. (I have seen this happen…and the other person is actually harmed from this)
Too much Loving another person can lead to obsession.
…those are my thoughts. What are yours? :)

This is so the truth. “We can Use it, but we really can't Control it.” Maybe it is more like we can “play” with it and learn from it and grow with it and … and what? What really is going on with that?
I have noticed that when I do “use The Power”, it is always a delightful surprise, how it actually comes out. I can think that I know what will happen but the reality is always better than my “plans” for it. ROTFLMAO. What a gorgeous day ! ! ! How can I not be in a good mood ?
Anyway, I just stay open to that possibility, that the “reality” will prove out to be surprisingly better than I hoped for. I actually “count” on it being that way - a lot. It is the source of my confidence, ability to cope, to get up each morning. How will it surprise me today? It is easy to stay open to such possibilities, no?
Yes, you are probably right, that too much can be lent. Well, I'm not sure about that. Hmmm.
Seems I always believe it is how it is supposed to be. Even when we are collectively “working” to help some situation, isn't the fact that we lend our love, light, compassion and sincere, earnest desire for all good and only the highest good possible, part of the grand, divine scheme of it all?
So, we get to feel good about helping. Were we really needed? Absolutely ! ! ! Did it ever doubt that we would answer the call? Of course not. And still we have free will. Still, we get to choose how we want to participate in life.

Well…it's sorta paradoxical…and alot of what I wrote was 'double speak'…things written between the lines…with 'the Powers that Were' in mind.
Hearing and answering A Call, my Dear Deb…well…we are, as you say…simply 'playing with' the energy force…we are Channeling it…not claiming it as our own, we understand that we are but the antennae (or broadcasters). I send Universal Love/Light…in pure form. When I imprint the Energy Force with my Intention, I am Very clear about what the Intention is…and even so, still offer it up for editing by Source :)
I am not as arrogant to think that I control anything. I learned that from the moment my Heart was set to a lovely Beat :)
Power, my darling woman, as with All Forces…can be used both negatively and postively…to all sorts of degrees on the scale.
Power Just IS.
What shall we make with it? What shall we use it for? What direction shall we aim it?
We are still learning how to wield this thing :)

Yes, and as your photo indicates, wielding it does take practice. Those lessons on control, intention and “editing” (oh-h-h, I like that thought about editing) are just part of the fun.
Still, it beats going along totally on auto pilot or default (especially the default programmed by watching or paying attention to the 'wrong' media) - unless of course, hmmm, one is so plugged in, that the autopilot is Divine and Perfect. Hmmm, we do get into trouble when we try to explain things, yes?
Perhaps, double speak is the ONLY way we can talk about it, with a good measure of allowing and accepting and tolerance for the limitations of such discussion.

Hi, Ariela, I find that when I tap into the Power Source, it is most often so that Power has the use of me. My willingness to be the tool, to let Power influence my life, is what gives my life purpose. Not to be Powerful, but to be useful.
