Quoted from National Geographic - Human Footprint
"Imagine 13,056 pints of milk stretching down a suburban street, a 50-foot (15-meter) wall of appliances, and a river of 28,433 rubber ducks representing showers, each group showing one person's lifetime usage. These are just some of the staggering images from the National Geographic Channel show, "Human Footprint", which documents the cradle-to-grave consumption of an average American boy and girl. This companion exhibition explores the global impact of consumption."

Human Footprint
I just happened to be flipping channels before turning the tv off to go to bed...and WOW! The visuals were just stunning, artistic, and scary to see how much we consume...how much we use and waste without thinking...how we've got all this throwaway stuff that just piles up and up and up. I almost threw up.
I re-vowed to lessen my own personal Usage and decrease my own footprint.
Everyone ought to see this! Kids too!...shows our usage throughout our Lifetimes!.
Your Garbage doesn't just disappear, peoples of Earth...
Gotta be more conscious of the whole process of what You Want...
And what it takes to get it.
And what happens to it after you're finished "using" it.
