Help

Yikes! i don’t like raking leaves or shovelling snow… sometimes I pretend I’m Tabitha and krinkle my nose and make it all disappear.
LOL Liza!
At my last place of residence, I was the acting landlord, so I was out shoveling snow and sweeping up…
This time around, I’m thankful it’s not my responsibility…I am not the landlord…Whew! I love this block, but this leaf-fall is just ONE night’s worth, to be swept up each morning…this block is lined in mature oak trees…and it looks and feels wonderful in spring and summer to have this living canopy of green overhead….so it’s both good and…umm…bothersome :-D
One night’s worth eh?… Mmmkay then, that’s a bit much. I propose raising taxes and setting up a Department of Foliage to wage the War on Dead Leaves, an emerging menace which experts say is an imminent threat to the American way of life as we know it.
*Brought to you by Lucid for Emperor 2012*
Hahhaha Lucid…there are TONS of leaves that fall! At the beginning of fall, it seems all the homeowners stare at the now-yellow-and-red-and-orange leaves with a deep sigh, dreading the cleanup :-D
Hey, I’m all for you as Emperor! I like the your D.O.F…it seems more useful than any other type of war…hey and great compost and fertilizer could be had from these leaves! :-D
Right on, that’s what I like to hear : ) When I put my cabinet together, you can be Secretary of Shenanigans… or Ambassador to ________. Cronyism is good when you’re down with the Empire ; )
Ahh yes, I can picture it now, hundreds of Zen gardeners wearing funny hats being dropped into unsuspecting neighborhoods in helicopters with big ass speakers on the sides playing Wagner’s “Ride of the Valkyries” at an unreasonable volume…
I’m FedExing my screwgun over so you can hurry up and put that cabinet together, let’s get on with the takeover :-P
ROTFLMAO :-D
I wanna be Secretary of the Secretary Desk, okay? :-D
Unbe-leaf-able, but … my sweet Star-iela, you can’t blame those dear leaves for falling for you!!!
All my love, your Si-Star, Rosy :-)
P.S. Liza, please keep on ‘krinkling your nose’ ~~~ there can be miracles when you be-leaf!!!
{{Huggggs Rosy}} LOL :-D Well, they can fall for me, ‘cause I don’t have to pick them up…and they’re ALL gone now…bare trees everywhere :-( can’t wait for spring already LOL.
Yep, that krinkling the nose got someone else to shovel my sidewalk on many an occasion…I even got some gratis hot chocolate while I sat by in a snowbank and watched all the hard work :-P
LMAO…heyyyy…but I also have shoveled the entire block for everyone. should’ve seen them all peeking through their windows at this crazy nut shoveling like there was no tomorrow, seemingly full of limitless energy :-D
Oh Ariela la la, there’s no business like snow business like no business I know … ;-)
Rosy leave-itates and floats away ~~~
I was the only one out there playing in the snow lots of times :-D LOL
…wait…don’t leaf yet Rosyyyy…
=)
Be-leaf.. good one Rose.
I love New York! I have cousins who live in New Jersey and their streets always have this look.. it’s very new yorkish/jerseyish..
…still laughing at Lucid’s comments…helicopters with big speakers, rotflmao.
Heyyyy Liza…Jersey must have it much worse…I think they have more trees than we do :-D And lawns too :-D
Ummm…people ‘round here seem to like cement lawns :-D
