How can you create more joy around you?

This is in Response to the Questions and Reflections for November 07, 2008:
Hmmm....
You know me and my motto..."As Within, So Without"
And soooo....I find that Joy within myself...Feed it...Nurture it...Cultivate it...GROW it.
When that is FILLED, that is when it starts to Radiate outward and others can FEEL it, share in it...but yet they too must find their OWN Joy within, or they can never experience it truly (As Within, So Without...they must have it within themselves to associate with)
I AM filled with Joy...but it is not reliant on anything Outside of me...so it cannot be taken away and it is not on a sliding scale. This goes for Love and all that other good stuff too. :-D

Areila, I am curious about when you say “and it is not on a sliding scale.” I sense a core truth in there somewhere. Can you tell us more about that?

I mean that my Joy is not dependent on anything Outside of me.
It is FULL ON…No Half-Way about it.
Or…picking and choosing who to Love…and placing limits on How and How Far you will love them…and When…and Why….
It's like trying to….just pee A Little Bit….It ain't gonna happen :-D
