I'd also like to share the video of Severin Suzuki's speech at the 1992 Rio Earth Summit...this speech was 15 years ago! I wish that we could all look at this and laugh at how stupid we used to be, as a people, with our stewardship of Planet Earth...but unfortunately, her speech is still applicable today...and since we are stuck in time, I'd like to release her words and passion once more...maybe we can truly hear this time, hey?
Dr. Suzuki is all grown up now...and still walking her talk! This is her now!

Whyyyy…it's so peaceful here on my blog that I could hear a pin drop, LOL ;-)
AS always a TIME for MEDITATION, CONTEMPLATION, DELIBERATION & REFLECTION …
but above ALL a TIME to THINK about our ACTIONS, NON-ACTIONS & INTERACTIONS
Yes, Yes, Yes! Can we pull off ONE DAY? How else are we going to get to One Month and One Year and a Peaceful Forever?

I have walked my talk yesterday, as I've mediated between the vicious arguments of teenagers on at least 3 occasions (yes, all in one day!) (I've shared already that I have no qualms about stepping between 2 people ready to shoot each other, I've done this too)…and really, they are touched and thankful that someone cares enough about them, especially someone they don't even know.
I need no thanks or notice…I just want to share wherever I go, that there is always a peaceful resolution to any conflict…and that any conflict does not need to end in violence for it to be resolved. (Ha! That's just the beginning of new problems via the ripple effect)
So I counteract…I nullify….I soothe…I ease…I smooth…I am most times the glue that sticks people back together when they have gotten so far apart as to think they are separate.
… and here 1 year later YES WE CAN !

Ahhhhh yes! I love your idea of Dr. Suzuki in Office!!! She had the Vision even as a child, she'd be a perfect representative and voice!
